Direction for Steaming Corn on the Cob in the Microwave
For Fresh Corn:
- Remove husks and silk, wash thoroughly
- Place corn ears in the bottom tray and pour 1/4 cup water per ear into each corn tray
- Microwave on medium to medium-high for 4-6 minutes to desired tenderness
- Use caution when opening, steam will be hot!
For Frozen Corn:
- Place corn ears in the bottom tray and pour 1/4 cup water per ear into each corn tray
- Microwave on medium to medium-high*. 1 ear - 5-8 min; 2 ears - 8-12 minutes
(*for best results, follow corn package microwave cooking directions)
- Use caution when opening, steam will be hot!
